Soap Opera Spoilers
Salem U.S.A's pot stirrers had a rough week on Days of Our Lives. Rafe (Galen Gering) went pow, right in Nick Fallon's (Blake Berris) kisser; then blamed Kate (Lauren Koslow) for hiring him. While that madness was going on, the rest of the town blamed Theresa Donovan (Jen Lilley) for drugging saintly Dr. Daniel (Shawn Christian).
While Theresa is far from innocent, it was actually Liam (Mark Collier) who did the dirty deed. Will Shane (Charles Shaughnessy) and Kim's (Patsy Pease) baby girl go down for a crime she didn't commit?
On the less exciting side of Salem, Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove) and Hope (Kristian Alfonso) had more tepid exchanges. I like dimpled dreambot Cosgrove opposite the eternally sexy Alfonso. They definitely share chemistry and potential. However, their storyline needs tons of work.
Enough with planning activities for the Catholic church. Seriously, who in DAYS writers' room thought this would be interesting?
Hope needs to be investigating a criminal, whom Aiden happens to be representing. Chemistry can only take this couple so far — especially when fans have yet to get over Hope being half of one of daytime's most popular supercouples for the better part of three decades.
Don't get me wrong. I am not sitting here holding a candle in the window for Bo Brady's (Peter Reckell) return. Hope must move on. But we Bope fans are going to need more than bake sales and snarking, to go from Oak Alley, The Dragon and "Tonight I Celebrate My Love" to accepting a Hope/Aiden match-up. Can Genoa City's two warring dynasties call a truce long enough to celebrate the young woman who unites them by blood? Today on The Young and the Restless, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) returns as the Abbotts and Newmans put on a fête in honor of Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Tyler's (Redaric Williams) pending nuptials. Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears) might be signing up for unemployment benefits after Friday's episode of The Bold and the Beautiful. Spencer Publications' chief counsel goes head-to-head with Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom). Will the power-trippin' CEO kick Liv and Dru's cousin to the curb?
Justin's saving grace just might be his homeboy Bill (Don Diamont). The pimptastic ex-publisher is doing everything in his power to get Karen (Joanna Johnson) back on his side.
Speaking of being on someone's good side, Oliver (Zack Conroy) doesn't see the problem in getting closer to Aly (Ashlyn Pearce) having the fringe benefit of securing his place at Forrester Creations. Is B&B a delicious mix of bedroom and boardroom drama right now, or what? Watch a sneak peek of Friday's show after the jump! READ MORE

Days of Our Lives has been so good for so long, but storywise, no soap can win 'em all. Take JJ Deveraux's (Casey Moss) current arc for instance. TPTB have taken JJ—just a short while ago the hottest teen on daytime— and stuck him in some lost episode of Leave It To Beaver, where Wally has a crush on Mindy Middlebottom.
No one wants to see Jack Deveraux, Jr. crushing on some newbie kid bore, after playing with the big boys and girls for most of the year. Why has JJ been removed from fellow troubled youth Theresa Donovan's (Jen Lilley) sexy, tempting orbit?
I get the show is going there with Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Theresa—who definitely make an intriguing pair—but I'd rather watch a triangle featuring a drunken, coke-addicted publisher, the hot mess daughter of an international spy and the brooding son of a redeemed rapist, than what JJ currently has going on. On what planet should both Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) and Abigail (Kate Mansi) be getting hotter action than JJ?
The Talented Mister Moss has a body built for sin — not standing around playing phone tag and/or sharing malts with Kelly Kapowski. Watch the DAYS recap video below and see if you agree! READ MORE
Eric Schmirick. Bill Pill. The only man for for diabolical jewelry designer Quinn Fuller—whether she knows it or not—is publishing scion Liam Spencer!
Seriously, how hot are Rena Sofer and Scott Clifton's confrontation scenes on The Bold and the Beautiful? Imagine how Wyatt (Darin Brooks) and Hope (Kim Matula) would react to a LiQuinn pairing. It's time for Dollar Bill's (Don Diamont) boy and his baby mama to get busy.
Speaking of Bill, he's at lunch, trying to convince his sapphic sis to give him back his company. Come on, Karen (Joanna Johnson). Hook yo brutha up! Watch a sneak peek of Thursday's B&B after the jump! READ MORE
